This week we complete a photography analysis project. My table was assigned the Civil war era. I decided to go with the famous photo “
Wounded soldiers under trees, Marye’s Heights, Fredericksburg,
after the battle of Spotsylvania, 1864″
by Mathew Brady. I really enjoyed the assignment. It allowed our group to explore print resources during the Civil war and how photography influenced society. I also enjoyed viewing other tables’ timelines. Each table had a specific era and it was interesting to see how those eras were influenced by print resources.
